Comment guidelines

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Comments help people choose and use MCP servers and agent skills. Share setup details, failures, and comparisons.

The rules

  1. Stay on topic. Focus on the MCP server or skill on the page, or its use with an agent. Questions, bug reports, workarounds, and comparisons belong here.
  2. No links. Do not post web addresses, even as text like "example dot com". Package names, commands, file names, and local addresses are fine, including @scope/package, npx -y some-server, .cursor/mcp.json, localhost:3000, 192.168.1.10, and ghcr.io/owner/image.
  3. No promotion. Do not pitch products, services, referral codes, or channels. You may name competing servers or skills for comparison.
  4. No politics. Omit politics, religion, and culture-war topics, including jokes and jabs about them.
  5. Criticise software, not people. Harsh technical reviews are fine. Insults, harassment, slurs, and threats are not.
  6. No personal data or secrets. Never post email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, API keys, tokens, or passwords.
  7. No spam. We delete duplicate posts, gibberish, keyword stuffing, and attempts to evade filters.
  8. Say something useful. Avoid "+1", "first", empty praise like "Nice", and machine-generated filler.
  9. Write in English. This site operates in English only.

How moderation works

  • You need an account with a confirmed email address to post.
  • An AI model scans each comment on submission. It reads only the text.
  • Comments from new members wait in a queue. A second AI model reviews queued comments once daily. If both models approve, the comment goes live. If it clearly violates a rule, we reject it and name the broken rule. You can then edit and resubmit it. Staff resolve edge cases.
  • After 2 published comments and 3 days of account age, your posts publish instantly if the first check passes.
  • Edited comments go through the same checks again.
  • You may have only one waiting comment at a time.
  • The daily scan rechecks live comments and hides rule violations.
  • A hidden or rejected comment sends your future posts back to the review queue.
  • Members can report any comment. Three reports hide a comment until staff review it.
  • To contest a decision, email info@sprqvntrs.com. Staff review all appeals.
